Description
LLC Owned!
A spacious and comfortable cruiser with sleeping accommodations for 6+, this is a lot of boat for the money, and great value for anyone planning extended cruising or living aboard.
Best Made Plans!
Sea Thicc’s owners are an incredible young couple and accomplished sailors who fell in love with this Hardin Voyager.
The plan from the beginning (2020) was to completely restore this amazing cruising yacht to her former splendor. They have invested in many things they had planned for from day 1 (all new decks) as well as some things they didn’t plan for (a complete engine replacement). As you will see in the following list they have made great progress toward their goal of complete restoration. To date they have invested roughly $85,000!
Plans change!
This last year they realized how quickly time passes and that it is time to set a new goal and prepare to start a family before much more time passes. They have come to realize that accomplishing both goals is more than they can bite off at this time.
A new owner can benefit from all of the hard work and money invested so far but there is more to be done. The following items were high on their “list to do” but will be left to a new owner.
- The generator has been removed but a new genset will need to be installed.
- The refrigeration system needs to be repaired or replaced.
- The galley stove has been removed but a new stove needs to be installed.
- There is a Raymarine radar dome that requires a new mount and to be wired into the Chart Plotter
- A transducer needs to be purchased and installed making the depth finder/fish finder functional.
Going Forward!
Yes, there is more to do on this restoration but much of the tough and expensive upgrades have been completed making her asking price a solid investment for this legendary blue water cruiser both capable at sea and potentially a great live-aboard!
Accommodations
Entering from the cockpit the galley is to port and the l-shaped convertible dinette to starboard. Down a couple of steps forward are opposing settees, each with a pilot berth above. Forward is the head with shower. Aft of the galley the port walk through leads to the master stateroom, with engine access inboard of the walk through and in-counter refrigeration units outboard. The master stateroom is spacious with abundant storage, and the ensuite head opens to the midships cabin with stacked berths in the starboard walkthrough. Well laid out and roomy, would sleep 6 to 8.
